c-1. Approval Path Management

From [Approval Path Management] menu, you can set approval paths and apply them by project.

 

  1. Move to [ Jira Administration > Manage Apps > K-Approval > Approval Path Management ] menu.

  2. Click ‘ADD PATH’ button.

     

     

  3. Click the ‘Add Path’ button to go to the ‘Approval Path Management’ menu.
    Enter the desired approval path name in the 'Approver Path Name' item, and click the '+' button below to enter the desired approval order (Approver Type, Approval Sequence Name, Approver Type, Approver Assignment).

    1) Approval Type : Agreement / Approval / Reference available
    2) Approval Sequence Name : Fill in any name arbitrarily
    3) Approver Type : Selected by Requester / Individual / Role available
    4) Approver Assignment :
    >If the "Approver Type" is selected by the drafter : Automatically designate "Selected by Drafter" (When the drafter creates the Jira issue, the approver can be selected from that issue form.)
    >If ‘Approver Type' is individual : Specify through User Selection Box(Click 'Find’ button)
    >If 'Approver Type' is role : Specify through Role Selection Box(Click 'Find’ button)
    5) Operations : You can move the approval order using the arrow icon or delete the approval path using the trash can icon.

     

  4. When all settings are complete, click the 'Save' button to save them. (Click the 'Return to Main' button to go to the 'Approval Path Management’ menu without saving the set contents.)



  5. You can specify the project and issue type to apply the approval path you set in the ‘Approval Path Mapping’ menu at the bottom.
    Click the '+' button to specify the desired project and issue type, and when all settings are completed, click the 'Save' button to save.


    1) Project : Select the desired project from the list of projects registered with Jira.
    2)Issue Type : Select the issue type you want to apply the approval path from the list of issue types for the selected project.
    3)Workflow Name : The workflow applied to the selected project/issue type is automatically displayed.
    4)Applicated Workflow State : Select which state of the selected workflow you want to apply the approval path to.
    5)Approval Transition, Reject Transition : You can set which workflow state you want to automatically convert to upon approval/rejection.
    6) Application : You can enable/disable the enforcement of approval paths for that project.
    7) Deletion : You can delete the approval path settings for that project.



  6. After ‘Save' all settings and click the ‘Return to Main' button, you will return to the ‘Approval Path Management’ menu.
    In ‘Approval Path Management’ menu, you can see that the values entered in 'Approval Path Setting’ and 'Approval Path Mapping’ are recorded.
