Global Settings
In Global Settings, you can set the submenu expansion level when a submenu is clicked in each navigation and configure the maximum number of rows to display for CQL query results. The values set in Global Settings apply to all created navigations.
1. Log in to Confluence as an administrator.
2. Click Get Started for Flexible Space Navigation in the User-installed apps list under Apps > Manage apps.
3. When the navigation list screen appears, click Global Settings in the left sidebar.
4. Configure the necessary items in the Global Settings.
Submenu Display Settings
Row to Display for CQL Results: If a CQL query has been added to a navigation menu item, the query results will be shown in the submenu area. You can set the number of rows to display for CQL query results in the submenu, with options ranging from 5 to 30 rows. The default value is 10 rows.
Submenu Expansion Levels: If a folder menu is added to the navigation, you can configure the folder’s submenu. Choose the submenu level to expand when a folder is clicked in the navigation. Up to 4 levels of submenus can be configured, and the default expansion level is set to 4.
Navigation Switch Settings
Show Navigation List: The Switch Navigation screen will appear when you click the currently active navigation name. You can change the current navigation from the navigation list in the Switch Navigation screen. Click on the navigation you want to set as the current one, and it will be updated. The navigation will only appear in the Switch Navigation list if the Show in Confluence option is enabled.
Default 'Show in Confluence' Setting for Navigation Creation
'Show in Confluence' Default Settings: This setting determines the default value of the Show in Confluence option for new navigations created.
When this option is enabled in Global Settings: New navigations will be created with the Show in Confluence option enabled by default.
When this option is disabled in Global Settings: New navigations will be created with the Show in Confluence option disabled by default.
You can manually change the option if needed.
