Set as Default Navigation
When you first install the app, a default navigation called Space Navigation is created. You can keep this default navigation, but the admin has the option to create a navigation menu that applies to multiple users in the organization and set it as the default navigation.
The navigation displayed on the screen is the active navigation. You can activate the default navigation or another navigation of your choice. The active navigation appears at the top of the navigation list, with the default navigation shown below it.
If logged in as an admin, you can set the default navigation. If logged in as a user account, setting the default navigation is unavailable.
Activating navigation allows any user to choose which navigation will be displayed on their screen regardless of admin status. If an admin chooses to activate navigation, it will only be set for their screen and will not be activated for the entire organization.
Please note that navigations set as default cannot be deleted.
1. Log in to Confluence as an administrator.
2. Click Get Started for Flexible Space Navigation in the User-installed apps list under Apps > Manage apps.
3. On the Navigation list screen, select the navigation you want to set as the default navigation and click Actions > More(three dots icon) > Set as Default.
4. Set as default navigation confirm appears, click Yes.
5. The DEFAULT label appears next to the selected navigation in the navigation list.
Default navigation can't be deleted. To delete the Default Navigation, you must first set another navigation as the Default Navigation, and then delete it.
