Notification

 

Send an email to the recipients set in the warning Schedule and Recipient Settings when the number of users in a license group exceeds the number entered in User Count.

 

Warning

 

To run the Notification, refer to How to access the menu.

 

1. On the Notification screen, click the Warning tab.

2. Click Edit on the warning screen.

3. In Warning edit mode, set the User Limit Alert and Schedule for Warning.

  • User Limit Alert: In User Count, enter the maximum number of users in the license group. If the number of users in the license group exceeds the number entered in the user count, send a warning email based on your settings.

  • Schedule for Warning: Set the interval for sending warning emails. The warning interval can be set to Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or every.

  • Daily: Send a warning email at a set time each day.

  • Weekly: Send a warning email on a selected day and time each week.

  • Monthly: Send a warning email on a selected date and time each month.

  • Every: Sends notification emails at a fixed interval. For example, if you set 30 minutes, notifications are sent every 30 minutes.

4. Click Save when you're finished.

Recipient Settings

1. On the Notification screen, click the Recipient Settings tab.

2. On the Recipient Settings screen, set up your recipient targets. Recipient targets can be added by selecting Groups, Users, or External Email. 

  • Groups: In Search by group, type the group's name and click Add. To delete a group you've added, type the name of the group you want to delete in Search by group, and then click Remove.

  • Users: In Search by name, type the username, and then click Add. To delete a user you've added, type the name of the username you want to delete in Search by name, and then click Remove.

  • External Email: In Search by other email, type the email, and then click Add. To delete an email you've added, type the email you want to delete in Search by other email, and then click Remove.

Add an email address in the External Email field. If you want to send a notification email to a person who is not included in the Confluence users.

3. Added targets will receive email notification, according to the Warning and recipient settings.
