Dashboard
The dashboard provides visibility into the status of licenses managed through Flexible User Licenses. You can check the license usage and the number of current product Users in real-time.
If you click Dashboard without completing the setup, you'll see a message at the top of the screen reminding you to complete the setup. If you click Start Now, you'll be taken to the feature that hasn't been set up: License Revoke or Notification.
About the Dashboard page
In the dashboard, check the status of real-time license usage.
To run the dashboard, refer to How to access the menu.
The drop-down icon: The Flexible User License menu list is displayed, and you can navigate the menu without scrolling through the left sidebar.
License Usage: Check the percentage of used and remaining licenses among purchased product licenses.
License Allocation: Check the number of licensed and unlicensed users among purchased product licenses.
Daily License Usage: The Daily License Usage chart provides a visual overview of license usage by date. It helps you understand usage trends over time and compare actual user activity with total licensed capacity. Data is collected daily at a scheduled time and is based on the number of licensed users and users who accessed the system on that day. The data is available in both chart and CSV formats. The following metrics are included:
License Tier: Total number of licenses available on that date
Daily Active Users: Number of users who accessed Confluence on that day
Licensed Users: Number of users assigned a license
Group Mapping > User Group: Check the group name and number of members for the User group.
Group Mapping > Licensed Group: Check the group name and number of members for the Licensed group.
Auto Revoke: Shows the auto revoke schedule, including how often it runs and the exact execution time.
User Limit Alert: Shows the alert schedule for when the number of users exceeds your license limit, including how often alerts are sent and when they are triggered.
Maintain License Count: Shows how the maintain license count feature works and how often it runs to keep the number of licensed users within your set limit.
License Usage
License Usage shows the number of product licenses used and remaining.
Navy(Used): The number of licenses in use.
Sky Blue(Remain): The number of licenses remaining.
Mouse over the doughnut chart to see the number of licenses in use, remaining, and utilization.
License Allocation
License Allocation shows the number of licensed and unlicensed users among purchased licenses with the doughnut chart.
Numbers in the doughnut chart: Show the total number of product users purchased.
Navy(Licensed): Show the number of licenses used by the permissioned product Users.
Sky blue(Unlicensed): Shows the number of users without product license permissions.
You can check the value of each status in the tooltip when you hover the mouse over the chart.
Group Mapping
Group mapping shows the group names and the number of users mapping as user groups and license groups.
User Group: In the captured image, the User Group has a group named abced-users and etc groups mapped to it, and the number of users is 6.
Licensed Group: In the captured image, the Licensed Group has a group named new-license-group mapped to it, and the number of users is 5.
