If using Crowd SSO Authentication, you must configure the User Directory information for the app to function correctly.





If Crowd SSO Authentication is not used, select Bitbucket Internal as the Authentication Type in the User Directory settings. The default value, Bitbucket Internal, is selected during app installation.











Setting Up User Directory Information



Enter Crowd Server Information if using Crowd SSO Authentication

To run the Group, refer to How to access the menu.





1. Click on the Group > User Directory tab.

2. Click Edit.



3. When the User Directory Information screen is in edit mode, enter the required information.



  • Authentication Type: Select the authentication method for your Bitbucket Server.

    • Bitbucket Internal: Select this option if you want to authenticate directly through the Bitbucket Server without using Crowd SSO.

    • Crowd SSO: Select this option if you want to authenticate through Crowd SSO.



If you select Crowd SSO, enter the following details:

  • Server URL: Enter the URL of the Crowd server being used for user authentication.

  • Application Name: Enter the name of the Crowd server being used for user authentication.

  • Application Password: Enter the password for the Crowd server being used for user authentication.

4. Click Save.
