View
The View feature in Flexible Table lets you save, manage, and customize how your project data is displayed in the table. With views, you can quickly switch between different layouts, preserve your preferred column arrangements, sorting, and filters, and return to them anytime.
From the view menu, you can rename, copy, reset, or delete a view, as well as define a default view that loads whenever the project is opened. This makes it easier to manage complex projects and ensure that you and your team always start with the most relevant setup.
Current view
Login to your Jira Cloud site.
Select the project you want to manage with the Flexible Table app, following the instructions in the Getting Started guide.
The table view in Flexible Table will appear.
Click the View button at the top of the table.
The name shown in View is the name of the view currently displayed on the screen, and the same name also appears under CURRENT VIEW.
Right-click CURRENT VIEW to access available settings or perform actions related to the view.

Set as default view
Set as default view lets you define the current view as your default view. When you right-click the current view and select Set as default view, a DEFAULT label appears next to it.
If you want to set a different view as the default, select it from the SAVED VIEW list to make it the current view, and then click Set as default view.
Even if another view is set as the current view, the default view will be displayed when you reload the project.

Reset
Reset restores the current view to its initial saved state, based on the first view saved after the project was loaded in Flexible Table. Any subsequent changes—such as column positions, sorting, or filters—are discarded, returning the view to its original configuration.

Save this view
If there are changes to the current view (such as column positions, sorting, or filters), a blue dot appears on the Save this view button, and the button becomes active.
Once the view is saved, the Save this view button is disabled again.

Delete view
Deletes the current view permanently. Once deleted, the view cannot be restored. Before deleting, make sure that the view is no longer needed or consider saving a copy if you want to preserve its configuration. Deleting a view does not affect the project data itself, only the saved layout and settings associated with that view.
