Filters

 

The filter feature allows you to display only the relevant work items without modifying the underlying table data. You can combine quick filters and field-based filters to view data based on specific conditions. Filters are applied temporarily until the view is saved.

 

 


To apply filters

 

1. Login to your Jira Cloud site.

2. Select the project you want to manage with the Flexible Table app, following the instructions in the Getting Started guide.

3. The table view in Flexible Table will appear.

4. At the top of the table, select Filters to open the filter panel. The filter panel shows filters based on the columns you’ve added to the table view. The number displayed next to Filters indicates how many filters are currently applied.

How filters work

  • Multiple filters can be applied at the same time. Filters are applied using AND logic.

  • Filters do not modify the actual data in the table—they only affect what's currently displayed.

  • Filters are temporary and will be cleared unless the current view is saved.

  • If you navigate away from the page or refresh without saving the view, all filters will be removed.

 

Filter Options

  • Clear all filters: Removes all active filters except for the Work hierarchy filter. This option is only available when at least one filter is applied.
