Q: Is the group name case-sensitive?
A: Group names are not case-sensitive per Atlassian policy. Therefore, group names are recognized as the same group if they are spelled the same without case sensitivity.

Q: In Bulk User Import, does it validate the email addresses of the users stored in the user import file (CSV/XLSX)?
A: Bulk User Import does not validate the Email addresses in the CSV/XLSX file.
Q: In the log list, what does the number mean?
A: “No (Number)” in the log list always the most recent log being #1. Therefore, it is not a unique number for that log, and the log number will always show the most recent log as number 1 whenever it is updated.
Q: Log search criteria allow me to select a period, worker, and action type. If I set all of these criteria, will the search results only show results that meet all of them? Or will the search results also show results that meet any conditions?
A: The search results will only show logs meeting all set conditions.
If no search conditions exist, the most recent logs are listed first and the oldest logs are shown last.
Q: Is there a limit to the number of users that can be imported at one time?
A: You can import as many users as you need, but it's important to check your license policy and group settings for any limitations. Additionally, please note that the maximum number of users you can import is subject to Atlassian policy.
Q: When importing users, is it always required to specify "Group" in the CSV/XLSX file?
A: "Group" in the CSV/XLSX file is not a required field. Email addresses are required, but "Group" is only specified if necessary. "Group" can be multiple, and group names must be separated by a semi-colon (;).
Q: If I do not specify "Group" in the CSV/XLSX file, which group will the user be added to after the user import is complete?
A: Users without a "Group" specified will be added to the jira-software group. Users with a specified group will also be added to the jira-software group.
