You can easily add many users to Jira at one time by creating a CSV or XLSX list of the users, organized by their Email addresses and by the groups they belong to.
You can also specify groups in the user list, and users will be added to the groups you specify, which helps administrators with user management when a group changes, new members join, etc.
CSV or XLSX stored User List
To use the Bulk User Import, an administrator must create a user list by listing the new user's Email address in a CSV or XLSX format.
Upload the generated CSV/XLSX user list to the Bulk User Import, and users will be added to Jira.
All imported users will be added to the default group. If you specify a group, they will also be added to that group.
Move Group
If you need to change a user's group, select a source group and a target group to move to. As a result, you can move the group by copying all the users to the target group.
Log
All actions taken in the Bulk User Import are recorded in a log, which you can download as a CSV or XLSX file to check the details of each action.
