Exclude Users and Groups
Exclude Users and Groups allows you to define users or groups that should be excluded from license revocation when running License Management Rules or Instant Revoke.
Even if excluded users or groups fall within the revoke criteria, their licenses will not be revoked.
Overview of Exclude Users and Groups
Login to your Jira Cloud site.
Go to Apps > Flexible User License in the left sidebar.
When the Flexible User License app is launched, select Manage Licenses > Exclude Users and Groups from the top navigation.
On the Exclude Users and Groups screen, you can add or remove users and groups to be excluded from license revocation.
Adding Users or Groups
In the Enter a user or group to exclude text field, start typing a name to see a list of matching users and groups. Select the users or groups you want to exclude from the list and click Add to include them in the exclusion list.
You can select one or more users or groups to exclude.
Search
In the Enter a user or group name text field, type part of the name to filter the list and display only matching entries.
N items, showing N results: Indicates that N matching entries are displayed out of a total of N items.
Exclude List
User and Group: Displays the names of users or groups excluded from license revocation. For groups, the number of members is shown below the group name. For users, their email address is displayed.
Added on: The date the user or group was added to the exclusion list.
Added by: The name of the person who added the user or group to the exclusion list.
Actions: Available actions for each entry in the exclusion list.
Actions include:
Show details: View detailed information. Clicking Show details for a group opens the Groups page in Jira Admin Directory. For a user, it opens the Users page.
Remove: Remove the user or group from the exclusion list.
